Jalen Hurts’ final grades for Week 12

So, how are we feeling? Disappointed? That’s a good word for this. Angry? That one works too, but trust and believe one thing. As upset as you are, there’s no way that you can feel worse than the guys that played in this game.

The Eagles put another check in the loss column, but there is a silver lining. As bad as things got for QB1, he hung in there and allowed his team to pull a rabbit out of the hat at the end.

Jalen Hurts finishes this one having completed 14 of 31 pass attempts, throwing three interceptions, and carving out a passer rating of 17.5. Let’s just say that QB1 has much to learn, but that’s okay. He’ll weather the storm, and he’ll have another opportunity to put a game in the win column next week.

Jalen Hurts has the attitude and temperament to be a franchise quarterback for the Eagles. No, you can’t throw three interceptions, but even in defeat, Hurts again showed us that he can handle adversity. That’s something that we’ve known for quite some time.

Final grades for Week 12:

Accuracy: C
Vision: C
Intangibles: A+
Decision-making: C
Leadership: A+
Overall grade: C

Keep your head up QB1! We expect, with everything that we’ve come to know about Jalen Hurts, that he’ll bounce back and play well versus the New York Jets. He’s been learning from his mistakes, and he’ll continue to do so.
