Eagles versus Jets Week 12 prop bets

Bet No. 1

  • Zach Wilson Total Passing Touchdowns (under 1.5) -210

According to WynnBET, the over/under on total touchdowns thrown by Zach Wilson in Week 13 is set at 1.5. New York’s QB1 has talent. Truthfully, there’s no way that you’re taken second-overall in any NFL Draft if you don’t. Still, he’s just seven starts into his NFL career (Week 13 will be his eighth) as he missed Week 8 through Week 11 with injury, and the deficiencies in his game can be seen already as you’d expect with any rookie signal-caller.

The depth of some of Wilson’s drops has been in question from time to time. His footwork has been an issue occasionally, and he’s late on some of his reads. All of that’s to be expected of young quarterbacks, and that’s probably also due to the fact that he relies on his athletic ability because he knows that can bail him out.

Wilson has thrown two touchdowns in a game twice, versus the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 and the Tennessee Titans in Week 4, but the Jets haven’t scored through the air in any of their other games with Wilson at the helm. The Eagles are beginning to hit their stride defensively. For both of those reasons, it’s doubtful that Wilson will throw two TDs in Week 13. Take the under here.
