60. . . . Minnesota Vikings. 4. team

The Vikings are nipping at the Eagles’ heels for a playoff spot.

If the NFL Playoffs were to begin today, the Minnesota Vikings, like the Philadelphia Eagles, would be on the outside looking in. You needn’t look any further for a reason as to why they’re the fourth-placed team on this ranking.

Following Week 13, the Vikes are one of the NFC’s bubble teams, They’re also a full game behind Philly in the push for a postseason berth (partially because they’ve played one fewer game).

Sure, their most recent loss, one to a previously winless Detroit Lions team, has to be seen as being embarrassing, but Minnesota has also beaten both the Los Angeles Chargers and the Green Bay Packers while pushing some of the NFL’s better teams to the limit before, ultimately, coming up short: the Cincinnati Bengals, the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys (albeit without Dak Prescott), and the Baltimore Ravens.

Minnesota kicks off Week 14 with a game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football before finishing their schedule with road and home dates with the Chicago Bears, a road game versus the aforementioned Packers as well as a Week 16 home date versus the Los Angeles Rams. Every game will be of the utmost importance for Minnesota and the Eagles as they try and keep the Vikes in their rear-view mirrors.
