Bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on defense in Week 15

It would appear that, versus a Washington Football Team with this many roster issues, the job seemingly gets easier for the Eagles’ head coach and its offensive and defensive coordinators. Nothing can be taken for granted with this coaching staff, however.

Don’t forget about the fact that, versus the lowly New York Jets, Jonathan Gannon didn’t appear to have his unit ready in the first half, and that’s been a common theme regardless of who the opposing quarterback has been.

When you hire a head coach and a former defensive backs coach and neither have ever called plays, growing pains should be expected, but things might be coming together now. This game should give us all indications of where Nick Sirianni and Jonathan Gannon are in their development.

Rookies Milton Williams and Tarron Jackson combine for two TFLs and two sacks.

This is the part of the season where the unknowns have to step up and make plays. December is where guys distance themselves and become stars. The Eagles have two guys that can be a part of this team’s future in Milton Williams and Tarron Jackson.

In Week 15, they’ll combine for two tackles that result in a loss of yardage and two sacks.

The Eagles hold Washington to 250 yards or fewer en route to a two-score victory.

This one is banking on the idea that, in Week 15, especially after having a week to prepare, the Birds look more like the team we’ve seen when they don’t overthink things, run the ball, and play like they have an actual gameplan prepared.

The mini-buzz that Washington created for themselves by beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is evaporating. We’re expecting an easy victory in this one. Prediction: Eagles 26, Washington 16
