10 Sub-radar Philadelphia Eagles and how they can help a playoff push

Three more Philadelphia Eagles special teamers who will step up.
Losing Rudy Ford was a concern for the special teams unit and there isn’t any way to replace that top-tier speed. Andre Chachere has been pretty phenomenal as a gunner though.
He is always there to down Arryn Siposs’ punts inside the twenty and ten or make tackles downfield on punts and kicks. Like Ford, he can get it done from both a crouched and receiver stance and just leave opposing gunners in the dust. His ability to shed blocks to get to return man is an underrated aspect of his game.
On defense, he has even made a few appearances at free safety and in the slot. The versatility is vital for this team. We have no doubts that he’ll successfully play his role for the rest of the season.
When Cam Johnston left for Houston, we had no doubt Siposs would be a fine replacement. The Eagles front office recognizes the importance of the third phase of the game. Johnston had a great career as an Eagle but did not play his best football at the end of 2020.
He didn’t perform poorly but there were certain punts that we’ve seen him boot further downfield and with better direction. Early on this year, Siposs looked like a better version of Johnston. That hasn’t been the case as of late.
He hasn’t been terrible but there are some punts he’d like to have back. He hasn’t necessarily hurt the Eagles though. He has gotten the job done and will hopefully finish the season as he started it.
