Jalen Hurts Week 17 final grades

One day, when we look back at Jalen Hurts career, regardless of how it turns out, we may not mention this Week 17 game versus the Washington Football Team, but this was one of Hurts’ better performances from an efficiency standpoint at this point of a young career.

Credit QB1 for taking what the defense gave him in this one. He made timely throws. He also racked up 44 yards with his legs on seven carries. That was good enough to ensure he’d finish Week 17’s contest as the Eagles’ second-leading rusher.

He didn’t toss any touchdowns or run for any. He didn’t deliver a ton of points for your Fantasy team, but he did something more important. He delivered a quality win and kept his team alive in the postseason chase.

In the end, you have to like what you’ve seen from QB1 in Week 17, but in all honesty, the slow starts have to end, especially on offense.

The Eagles welcome the Dallas Cowboys to Lincoln Financial Field for the regular-season finale, and if they play in the first half of that one as they’ve played during the first half of the last three games, that game might be over by halftime.
