There are so many ways this late-season playoff push by the Eagles can be spun.

Even in a season that ends with a trip to the postseason, as you might imagine, Philadelphia Eagles fans, some of them anyway, have to find something to complain about. Here’s the thing though. In all honesty, many of the statements are fair.

Philly’s wins have come against teams who have crafted records that are below .500. Their defense has had a tendency to make sub-par quarterbacks look like guys who are Pro Bowl ready, but none of that constitutes something the Eagles should feel they need to apologize for.

The only thing that this team can do is line up and play the guys that are across from them. If that team isn’t performing well, so be it. If that team isn’t winning games, tough cookies. The Eagles don’t owe anyone an apology for this playoff push. That’s like saying the New England Patriots should apologize for their run because the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins, and the New York Jets all fell on hard times for almost 20 years.

That’s definitely something that we can talk about as the Eagles prepare for what we all hope are a couple of upsets. Here are a few other takes that fall in that same category
