The Eagles have backup options if they don’t land Linderbaum or one of those UGA stars.

Normally, when it comes to stuff like this, no one’s going to get pumped up about participation trophies or media-given equivalents, but there’s something to be said about work ethic. Former Boston College Eagles standout Zion Johnson earned the respect of everyone thanks, in large part, to his work ethic and practice habits. He earned the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl Practice Player of the Week Award.

Come on. Who doesn’t love guys that work hard?

He isn’t on the same level as Iowa Hawkeyes star Tyler Linderbaum, but he’s a nice consolation prize. The Eagles or any other team that winds up with him will be lucky to have him.

Love them or hate them (and if you’re a Florida Gators or Georgia Tech fan, it’s probably the latter), championship glory was well worth the wait for Georgia Bulldogs fans. If you aren’t a UGA fan, they still provided plenty of incentive to tune in and watch them play. They had future NFL stars everywhere, especially on defense.
