The following decisions should be easy for the Philadelphia Eagles to make.

As is the case with every NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles have a few roster decisions to make that are, shall we say, no-brainers. Here are a few moves no one should agonize over.

Jason Kelce, center (stays)

Let’s not waste anyone’s time here. Even though Jason Kelce‘s career is now examined on a year-to-year timetable, no one looks at him in the same manner that we look at other free agents. He’ll be an Eagle for as long as he decides to be one. He’s earned that.

If he wants to continue playing, he’ll be allowed to. Everyone hopes he’s back in 2022.

Derek Barnett, defensive end (leaves)

The Eagles have spent the majority of Derek Barnett‘s career defending him, but there’s no reason for this relationship to continue. He’s a bust, and at this point, no reasonable argument can be made for his return.

We’ve tried to think of one objectively. We truly have, and we simply cannot come up with one, unless of course, he has some secret that will destroy the organization and some arrangement he has with leadership that’s holding the franchise to ransom.
