6 QBs Philadelphia Eagles must avoid in the NFL carousel
Aaron Rodgers is one of the best, but the Eagles should steer clear.
Green Bay Packers legend and future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Aaron Rodgers remains one of the most difficult NFL legends to explain. He’s one of the best to ever play the game, but he’s also a headache. Despite all of that talent, he still comes up short in the postseason far too often.
He’s now 11-10 in the postseason, and that includes a mark of 7-9 since leading the Pack to a Vince Lombardi Trophy to conclude the 2010-2011 season.
If you’re keeping score, he just went one and done in the most recent NFL Playoffs. Isn’t that the reason that some of you are roasting Hurts, because he didn’t get it done in January?
No one’s saying Rodgers isn’t someone the Birds can win with. We’re just saying to look at things from reality’s lens.
If the Eagles were ready to contend for a Super Bowl right now, it might make sense to give up two or more first-round picks for Rodgers and hope for the best. Seeing as how they aren’t, a move this costly doesn’t feel like a wise decision. Again, there’s no evidence that states adding Rodgers gets you to a Super Bowl anyway.
