50. . . . Detroit Lions. 14. team

The Lions are among the NFL’s worst teams and the Eagles’ easiest test of 2022.

If you’re the Detroit Lions, you have to be asking yourselves about whatever the NFL equivalent is for self-esteem and what you intend to be as an organization. Matthew Stafford finally freed himself of one of the game’s snake-bitten franchises and won a Super Bowl for his troubles. It kind of makes you wonder what he might have become had he played his entire career somewhere else, doesn’t it?

Like the Eagles, the Lions have questions at quarterback, safety, cornerback, wide receiver, and linebacker. Unlike the Eagles, there’s no hope for this team in 2022.

. . Houston Texans. 13. team. 10.

Raise your hand if you have difficulty in remembering who still plays for the Houston Texans sometimes. Yep! That’s what we thought.

Lovie Smith is an easy guy to like, but this franchise has a tough hill to climb if they’re to gain some level of relevancy. They have no identity, and in all honesty, we’re not even sure if they have a quarterback.

12. team. 52. . . . Jacksonville Jaguars

If you can honestly say that the stars would align and, in 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles would wind up hosting Doug Pederson and his new team in a game at Lincoln Financial Field, you’re in the wrong business.

You need to pack your bags, move to Vegas, and take up a job helping the oddsmakers pick games and come up with spreads. The Birds meet the guys from Duval County in 2022.
