The Philadelphia Eagles can trade Jalen Reagor and JJ Arcega-Whiteside to Seattle.

You know the stories well, so well that you could enunciate them perfectly backward and forward. In 2019, the Philadelphia Eagles elected to draft JJ Arcega-Whiteside with the 57th-overall selection during Round 2 of that year’s selection meeting. They ignored D.K. Metcalf in the process.

D.K. went on to become one of the best players at his position. JJAW has 16 receptions for 290 yards and one touchdown on his professional resume.

As bad as that is, what happened one year later might be worse, especially seeing as how the pressure was on to nail their first-round pick after seeing so many failures. In 2020, the Birds missed on Justin Jefferson, electing instead to go with Jalen Reagor. It turned out that Philadelphia had swung and missed again.

Justin Jefferson has hauled in 196 receptions for 3,016 yards in two seasons, and he’s reached the end zone 17 times. He’s also made the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons. Reagor’s racked up 64 receptions over that span. That’s resulted in 695 yards and three receiving touchdowns.

And, you wonder why people are frustrated? No more fans! No more!

We’ve figured out a way to wipe those errors from our memory. Regardless of what Seattle does with Metcalf, they still need help at wideout. How about we give them two for one.

We’re willing to ship JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Jalen Reagor to the Pacific Northwest in exchange for Mr. Metcalf, and if that isn’t enough, we’re willing to throw in a selection in the current draft and one in the next (or both) to sweeten the pot. As a matter of fact, that gives us another idea.
