It will be interesting to see how the Eagles value Christian Harris and Chad Muma.

NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein compared Chad Muma to Jake Ryan in his recent NFL Draft profile of the six-foot-three, 239-pound star. You can make arguments for and against that statement. Still, even though this former Wyoming Cowboys standout didn’t see what we would call elite competition in the Mountain West Conference, pro scouts that we trust really like this guy. That’s good enough for us.

It’s hard to discuss NFL potential when you’re watching Wyoming’s games versus UConn, Air Force, and Kent State, but you can’t control who you play as a collegiate athlete. You can only control how you perform once the game begins, and that’s where Muma made his mark, tallying 142 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and three interceptions en route to a second consecutive First-Team All-Mountain West nod and a Third-Team AP All-American designation.

829. . . . Christian Harris, Alabama. 3. player

Nothing says ‘electricity’ like a six-foot-three, 241-pound linebacker running a faster 40-yard dash than some of the wide receivers who were in attendance to work out in Indianapolis. There were a few oohs and aahs as Christian Harris impressed with an official 40-yard dash time of 4.4 seconds.

The questions are about his size and how his game translates to the next level, but something tells us he’ll be fine. He has all of the skills to be a first-round draftee, but seeing as how he didn’t always play like one in 2021, one might assume that he’ll be someone that hears his name called early in Round 2.
