Who will the Philadelphia Eagles look to for TE3?

Jason Croom spent the 2021 season on the injured reserve list after a preseason injury. He has some prior experience with the 2018 Buffalo Bills and caught a touchdown pass in Philly in 2020. Jack Stoll and Tyree Jackson both have experience now too.

Following the Zach Ertz trade, Stoll was the TE2 for the rest of the season. Jackson received some snaps as well but unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in the regular-season finale. Philadelphia must upgrade the TE2 position but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring back Croom to compete for the third-string job.

Even if he doesn’t make the roster, he could be a practice squad candidate.

Verdict: Bring him back. He won’t cost much and can compete for a roster spot in August.
