Might the Eagles ride with a Penn State alum or national champion?

Any time we talk about potential draft prospects that the Philadelphia Eagles might be eyeing, it’s almost second nature to take a look at what Temple and Penn State have to offer… for obvious reasons.

The Birds have raided those in-state cupboards before. Sometimes, it works. They drafted former Nittany Lion Miles Sanders and eventually brought a former Owl home this offseason (Haason Reddick), but they’ve also been burned by Shareef Miller (Penn State) and still have a few unanswered questions about Shaun Bradley, another Temple alum.

We can be quoted on this. Jaquan Brisker is a monster and star in the making. He didn’t just end his final season in Happy Valley with a First-Team All-Big Ten nod. He’s also a Second-Team All-American. Make sure you jot his name down.

. . Lewis Cine, Georgia. 1. player. 814.

There isn’t much to complain about in terms of Lewis Cine‘s game. This six-foot-one, 200-pound First-Team All-SEC nod and 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Defensive MVP held down the backend of the Georgia Bulldogs’ star-studded defense, playing in all 15 of UGA’s games and adding73 tackles, an interception, and nine pass breakups to his resume for his troubles.

Trending. 1st-round trade highlights this NFL mock draft. light

He’s an AP Third-Team All-American and the best safety in this draft class not named Kyle Hamilton or Daxton Hill, and depending on who you ask, they might have Cine rated slightly ahead of Hill.
