If the Eagles wait until Day 3 of the NFL Draft to take a receiver, they’ll have options.

Stating that this hasn’t been the warm welcome that Zach Paschal was hoping for feels like a safe assumption to make. His signing hasn’t resulted in the same level of enthusiasm that we saw when the Philadelphia Eagles landed Haason Reddick. Heck, the reacquisition of Boston Scott seemed to generate more electricity.

That isn’t to say that Pascal won’t contribute. We’ll have to wait and see, but glancing as Pro Football Focus and learning that, in 2021, he earned a lower ranking than Jalen Reagor is a bad start.

No one dislikes Philly’s newest wideout. People are just tired of bad moves being made by this organization at the wide receiver position, so even though there’s some disagreement over whether or not the Eagles should take a wideout in Round 1, there’s a ton of theory that they’ll take one in the selection meeting at some point. Fortunately, they’ll have options.

Let’s just say that the decision is made to address other needs early (which would be wise). Everyone has taken the time to look around and make guesses on who we think might be available in Round 2 or Round 3 of the next draft. We’ve taken things a step further.

We hit the fast-forward button and landed on Day 3. Here’s a ranking of ten young men that should be available from Round 4 on. Might the Eagles be paying attention? Time will tell, but for now, let’s find some diamonds.
