Philadelphia Eagles: Bold predictions for Jalen Hurts that are way too early
Jalen Hurts makes the Pro Bowl roster (as an alternate).
With the Eagles being in one of our great nation’s major sports markets, there’s never any fear of them lacking any ability to get their fans to tune in to watch the games. A playoff berth a season ago also ensures some primetime appearances.
Can Jalen Hurts make it to his first Pro Bowl? It isn’t impossible. Matt Ryan plays for the Indianapolis Colts now. Russell Wilson packed his bags for the AFC as well.
Carson Wentz returns to the NFC East. We doubt he makes it in. The Minnesota Vikings haven’t moved on from Kirk Cousins. No one seems to fear Jared Goff or anyone that suits up for the Carolina Panthers. If Jalen Hurts is going to make it to a Pro Bowl, this would be the season.
Despite his flaws, he’s is a highlight reel waiting to happen. He’s also very popular. Isn’t Pro Bowl voting a popularity contest anyway? If he makes a few top-ten moments on SportsCenter and gets the ever-supportive Birds fan base behind him, this could be a season to remember.
The prediction here is Hurts will make the Pro Bowl, but he’ll do so as an alternate. Then, once whoever is in the Super Bowl drops out because he won’t be playing, Jalen will be added to football’s all-star team as an active member.
That’s our story. We’re sticking to it, but again, it’s only March. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
