Safety. player. 824. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Maryland Terrapins. Nick Cross. 124

The Eagles add phenomenal depth pieces and a possible future starter.

We’re more impressed with Nick Cross every time we look at some highlights or game film, or hear him speak, or, pretty much, watch him do anything else. If what we saw at the collegiate level translates, this is one of those gifted and high-character guys that simply makes a locker room better.

We keep waiting on him to rise on draft boards, but he keeps earning mid-round grades. It’s for that reason, that we see him as an excellent value pick that could work his way into an important role early.

Jalen Wydermyer. player. 873. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Tight End. Aggies. 154

Jalen Wydermyer is difficult to evaluate but extremely talented. He was stifled by bad quarterback play from time to time while at Texas A&M with the Aggies, but when the ball was thrown his way, there were instances in which he struggled with drops.

That’s okay though. He’s young, and we feel good coaching will correct the minor issues. In Philly, in an offense where he shares the field with Dallas Goedert, he could be a nightmare to defend. Write his name down if you haven’t already.

Hassan Haskins. 162. player. Pick Analysis. 811. Scouting Report. Running Back. Michigan Wolverines

The Eagles have talented running backs, but for the most part, they all have similar skill sets. The workhorse/bruiser is missing, and Hassan Haskins can step in immediately and grind out tough yards and chew clock late if this team finds itself up on the scoreboard late in the second half of games
