The Eagles also visited with Matt Corral and a Clemson product they keep getting linked to.

You’re never going to be able to consistently win arguments now if you’re one of those college football fans that get irritated when players sit out of bowl games. Matt Corral decided to play in the most recent Sugar Bowl. He injured his leg, and he was carted off. If you don’t think that jeopardized his draft status some, you’re fooling yourselves.

Corral isn’t the perfect prospect, but he has tremendous ability. There isn’t any guarantee that he’d be a first-rounder. There isn’t any guarantee that he’s better than Jalen Hurts. All we’re saying is this.

If the Eagles take a quarterback in Round 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft, we’re going to pull our hair out. You’ve been warned. Let’s move on.

The dots have been connected between Andrew Booth and the Philadelphia Eagles on multiple occasions. We’ve lost count of the number of mock drafts that have sent him to the City of Brotherly Love, but there’s a bit of a split in his analysis.

Some view him as one of the five best cornerbacks in the draft and a home-run selection for Philadelphia. Others believe he’s slightly overrated, and he benefited from pre-snap assistance by his defensive coaches while with the Clemson Tigers.

We’ll leave it at this, for now. Regardless of what you believe and what side you’re on, it can’t be overlooked. He’s already better than many of the current cornerbacks the Eagles employ. Stay tuned. This could get interesting.
