The Philadelphia Eagles’ general manager is seeing a rise in approval rating.

Eagles vice president/general manager Howie Roseman will never have a job that’s as important as the one the Commander-in-chief in our great nation’s capital has to perform, but there’s one area in which they can relate, approval ratings… even if they don’t put too much stock in them.

Howie has taken his share of verbal and social jabs over the past few offseasons (and every regular season that has followed), but he’s helped himself out with two consecutive drafts that look pretty promising and that trade during Round 1 of the most recent that we can’t stop talking about.

Depending on how you look at it, you can make a successful argument stating the Eagles got the best wide receiver that was available during the selection meeting’s first night. Philly also landed a first-round talent during the third round in linebacker Nakobe Dean. That was major.

Howie has his critics. Often, he gives them all of the ammunition that they need to attack him, but he’s on a bit of a winning streak here. The question is this. Will the recent success he’s seen lead to a successful season for the Birds? Let’s hope so!
