Grading every Philadelphia Eagles rival’s 2022 NFL Draft class

The Giants make waves but will still be swept by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The New York Giants needed to strengthen themselves in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Regardless of how you feel about what’s been said about concerns with his work ethic, Kayvon Thibodeaux is a nice upgrade for them.

Many saw him as the second-best EDGE star in the draft behind Aidan Hutchinson. Evan Neal was the second of their first-round draft choices two spots later at seven. He’s a home run and, quite possibly, the best tackle in the draft. Here’s how the rest of their 2022 draft class looks.

• Round 3, pick 81: Cor’Dale Flott, cornerback, LSU (B)
  
• Round 4, pick 112: Daniel Bellinger, tight end, San Diego State (B+)
  
• Round 4, pick 114: Dane Belton, safety, Iowa (A-)
  
• Round 5, pick No. 146: Micah McFadden, linebacker, Indiana (A-)
  
• Round 5, pick No. 147: D.J. Davidson, defensive tackle, Arizona State (B+)
  
• Round 5, pick No. 173: Marcus McKethan, guard, North Carolina (B+)
  
• Round 6, pick 182: Darrian Beavers, linebacker, Cincinnati (B+)
  

Here’s some fair warning. Wan’Dale Robinson is small, but he’s better than advertised. New York traded back twice and landed him, earning the 114th and 146th picks in the process.

The good news is Robisnon won’t elevate the Giants’ offense alone. In the meantime, as Eagles enthusiasts, let’s hope those concerns about Thibodeaux turn out to be accurate. Overall Grade: A-
