Dallas will be the Eagles’ biggest hurdle in winning the NFC East, but they’re vulnerable.

Here’s where things get tricky. The Philadelphia Eagles will and probably should be favored in their four games versus the Giants and Commanders. If the season were to begin tomorrow and we were somehow transported to either of those games in Week 6 or Week 16 (their games versus Dallas), it would be the Cowboys that would get the nod from our friends in Las Vegas as the favs.

That’s understandable. They have the NFC East’s best quarterback, Dak Prescott. They’re the division’s reigning champions. They are also winners of three games in a row and seven of the last nine meetings between these two teams.

It’s been a brutal stretch. What can we say?

As you know, the Birds can conceivably lose both games to Dallas and still win the division, but to begin establishing long-term dominance over Jerry Jones’ boys, eventually, they’ll need to go through ‘America’s Team’.

Now, seems like the time to make the move. Many feel like the NFC East is Philly’s division to win. Dak has shown that he can, at times, need perfect circumstances to be successful. The Cowboys are anything but a perfect roster.

Mike McCarthy is a fraud. Amari Cooper, Bradlee Anae, and Randy Gregory are gone. Ezekiel Elliott has deteriorated physically, and the Cowboys haven’t done much to improve this roster.

The time is now. The Birds need to pounce. It won’t be easy, but this team could absolutely sweep Dallas in 2022.
