32. . . . Arizona Cardinals. . team

Will the Eagles pull off a win against the normally fast-starting Cardinals?

At first glance, some people may not think this game is a tough matchup, but the Arizona Cardinals are a team that burns the brightest in the first half of the season. Philadelphia plays the Cards in Week 5.

The Eagles tend to have a tough time against Arizona, and they’ve only beaten them twice in the last five meetings. During the most recent, Kyler Murray had a field day versus Philly with 406 yards passing, three passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and one interception.

Even with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins missing the game due to a six-game suspension, the Cards can cause matchup issues as they’ve added another 1,000 wide receiver, Marquise Brown to an already formidable corps that features veteran A.J. Green and up-and-comer Rondale Moore.

Arizona also features former Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, who will want to have a great game and get the win versus his old team.

The Cardinals have speed. Their quarterback can run, but they also feature running back James Conner who can wear teams down. He racked up 752 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in 15 games last season.

This game looks to be a shootout in the making as the points tend to come with ease whenever these two meet, but the Cards hold the edge through the last five meetings having outscored Philly 125-121.
