Will Fletcher Cox and James Bradberry’s stay extend past the 2022-2023 Eagles season?

The Birds have added to their roster with some significant upgrades in both free agency and the NFL Draft, but Fletcher Cox, even on a one-year deal, will be asked to provide veteran leadership. If this is his final run with the Philadelphia Eagles, it’s been fun.

He’s the old man now, but something tells us there’s enough left in the tank for one final victory lap as one of the best Birds to ever wear a midnight green jersey.

You can’t talk about the 2022 Eagles offseason without mentioning James Bradberry three times or more. Not only is he one of the NFL’s best players at his position, he’s teamed with another, Darius ‘Big Play’ Slay.

They, along with Avonte Maddox, form a cornerback trio that will scare the ‘you know what’ out of opposing quarterbacks, especially the young ones. Philly got the 2020 Pro Bowler at a bargain, $7.25 million over one year. You can best believe he’ll be playing lights out as he looks to earn a multi-year deal for himself.

The question is this. Will that deal be drawn up by the Eagles or another NFL franchise?
