. . T.J. Edwards, Nakobe Dean. 6. player. 54.

Keep an eye out for all of that EDGE talent and the Eagles’ linebackers.

If it feels like we’ve been talking about the second level of the Eagles’ defense for a while, it’s because we have been. Hopefully, the additions that have been made this offseason drive a wedge in what’s seemingly been a revolving door since Andy Reid was pacing the sideline.

Since the end of April, we’ve all had sporadic conversations about who will start at middle linebacker. Are we discussing T.J. Edwards or Nakobe Dean? Those discussions normally lead us down the road of what we can expect to see at the WILL (weakside) and SAM (strongside) positions. Maybe we should be asking other questions.

How about we dedicate some of those brain cells to another attractive option? How do we go about getting Edwards and Dean on the field at the same time?

5. player. 54. . . . B.G. and Josh Sweat

Josh Sweat made his first trip to the Pro Bowl at the end of the 2021-2022 regular season, and we don’t care if he made it as an alternate. He got there!

Brandon Graham was elected to the NFL’s all-star team at the end of 2020, but last season, unfortunately, ended for him during the Philadelphia Eagles’ second game. He’s back and looking to prove he still has a lot to offer.

Derek Barnett is still in the mix, but make no mistake about it. Sweat and B.G. will need to lead the way for Philly’s edge rushers.
