We’re calling for somewhere around 550 snaps, 45 tackles, five sacks, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles.

Perhaps, with a stat line like this one, we’re riding a thin line that’s separating ‘reasonable expectations’ and ‘bold predictions’, but when you’re discussing the 13th-overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, there has to be a little pressure.

As mentioned earlier, if everything goes according to plan, the Philadelphia Eagles won’t have to ask for too much from Jordan Davis too early. He’ll be a fixture of this team’s defense for a long time to come, but with great teammates who are also playing his position, for the first time in his career, he’s a depth piece.

That will change in 2022, but don’t worry. Birds fans will see a lot of fireworks in year one. As a rookie, Milton Williams racked up 30 tackles, two sacks, and two pass breakups on the aforementioned 456 defensive snaps. We’re expecting a little more from 2022’s 13th-overall selection.

Trending. Elite traits Jordan Davis brings to the Eagles. light

Let’s figure, for the sake of argument, that he’s on the field for about 550 snaps. We’re calling for 45 tackles, five sacks, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. We won’t complain if he’s able to produce more statistically, but for now, we’ll label those as reasonable expectations for the 2022-2023 NFL regular season.
