Zach Pascal, wide receiver. 3. player. 54. . .

Zach Pascal continues the doubters, and Jack Stoll will do the same in his second season with the Eagles.

All of the hesitation that came with the announcement that the Philadelphia Eagles were signing Zach Pascal is gone now… or at least it should be. We’ve loved him at Inside The Iggles since he issued that stern warning to everyone when much of the discussion was about him being another blocking wide receiver. This guy is so much more than a better version of J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (yes, people were saying that).

He battled food poisoning and weight loss and seemed to come out on the other side like he never missed a beat. The Birds are lucky to have him. He gives the wide receiver room the veteran presence that many believed they were missing. Keep an eye on him this season.

. . Jack Stoll, tight end. 89. player. 54.

Speaking of guys with better hands than you might expect, welcome to the Jack Stoll mention on this list. An undrafted free agent in 2021, this young man worked his way up to become the second tight end on the depth chart.

Indeed, he is one heck of a blocker, but he’s more than that. He probably won’t be asked to do so often, but he can catch the football if needed to do so.

He hauled in 61 passes for 657 yards and reached the end zone six times during his four-year, 29-game run at the collegiate level with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Expect some timely targets on third down and in the red zone as there’s a chance that Stoll could do a lot more than clear running lanes during the 2022-2023 Eagles season.
