1. Boston Scott does his best work when the Eagles face off against the New York Giants. Philadelphia should let him eat in weeks 14 and 18.

Divisional matchups are always intense and with the two teams knowing each other so well, it’s sometimes difficult for either team to establish an advantage over their rivals.

When the Eagles play the New York Giants, one of the players that always help give the team an edge on that day is running back Boston Scott. The ‘Giant Killer’ always brings his best stuff when Big Blue is on the schedule, and with there being no real reason to fear the G-Men, that trend should continue during the 2022-2023 regular season.

The longest run of Scott’s career came versus those pesky Giants (a 56-yard touchdown run) albeit in a 2020 loss. In total, he has collected 327 rushing yards with seven touchdowns versus Philly’s long-time rivals, and there’s no reason to limit his touches during their annual two-game clash this time around. As the old saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

Philadelphia won’t see New York until the latter half of 2022. Giving Boston Scott a heavy workload should be what the doctor ordered to ensure a two-game sweep.
