The expectation is a 3-0 start for the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s never wise to count games as wins before kickoff. When you adopt that mindset in the NFL, you come out on the wrong end of some upsets. This Philadelphia Eagles coaching regime deserves some credit though. They’ve kept this team balanced.

No one on Philly’s roster or its coaching staff gets too high after a victory or too low following a loss. This team has mastered the one week at a time approach.

They won’t say this, but we will ( because we aren’t coaches). The Eagles are a better team than the Washington Commanders. They’re better at every position with the exception possibly being along the defensive line, but the Birds have the best offensive line in the NFL. There’s your neutralizer.

FanDuel says the line in this one is 6.5 points. Here’s a much simpler take, one that is void of numbers, Xs and Os, and mathematical theory. We were under the assumption that the Eagles would beat the Minnesota Vikings. They did, and we feel better about Philly’s chances in the next game than we did in their most recent.

We’re throwing caution to the wind. We’re planting the flag. The expectation is a 3-0 start. Here are some bold predictions for how this one plays out.
