The Eagles’ offense may see its toughest test so far in Week 4.

The Eagles’ offense has produced its fair share of fireworks in 2022. They’ve also fallen asleep in the second half of games. They have yet to score in the fourth quarter this season. They may not be able to afford to have that happen versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, but this defense may be the best they’ve seen so far.

Devin Lloyd, linebacker

No disrespect is intended for Nakobe Dean. We think he’ll be great for a long time, but years from now, we may be discussing Devin Lloyd as the best linebacker taken in the 2022 NFL Draft class. He’s off to a scorching start having tallied 24 total tackles, two interceptions, and six pass breakups in Jacksonville’s first three games.

Tyson Campbell, cornerback

The Eagles have their talented young stars that they plucked out of the Georgia Bulldogs program, and the Jags have theirs. Tyson Campbell wasn’t a member of the College Football Playoff National Championship-winning team. He left school early for the greener pastures of the NFL, and by the looks of things, he could become a star at the cornerback position.

Travon Walker, linebacker

From one Dawg to another, Travon Walker was present for the CFP National Championship win. He rode that success to become the first player taken in the most recent NFL Draft, and so far this season, he’s already added eight total tackles and a sack to his professional resume.

Foye Oluokun, linebacker

It’s still baffling that the Jags walked into the 2022 NFL Draft, and walked out with Travon Walker, Devin Lloyd, AND Chad Muma, but we all saw it. Foyesade Oluokun joined the team this season. He isn’t someone that you want to lose track of either. He already boasts 22 tackles during three games this season.

Josh Allen, linebacker

Amazingly, we can now bring up the Jags without having to constantly reference Josh Allen, but it isn’t because we shouldn’t. The 2019 Pro Bowler and Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team nod is one of the best young defenders in the game, and if you don’t believe us, just ask anyone who’s had to line up against him.
