When in his prime, it was commonplace to see former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens in the headlines… for both good reasons and bad. These days, he’s a much more reserved and quieter version of the man that gave birth to the phrase “getcha popcorn ready”. He didn’t even attend his Hall of Fame induction, electing instead to host his own ceremony at his alma mater, the University of Tennesee at Chattanooga. Still, every so often, he still pops up occasionally. Unfortunately, this time, he’s again in the news, and we regret to inform you that the light is unflattering.

Only the Good Lord in Heaven and TMZ know how they keep coming across this stuff, but they’re at it again. This time they captured the six-time Pro Bowler knocking out a heckler outside of a CVS Pharmacy in Los Angeles.

Yeah, there’s no way we’re dropping a clip of that one. Follow the link and give it a look for yourselves. Let’s just put it this way. Despite the fact that he was sometimes criticized for his hands, they look like they’re working fine in the video…

Sorry, that was a bad joke… In all seriousness, we hope both parties in this one are alright.

Despite recent events, Terrell Owens remains one of the most talented players in NFL history.

Trust us. We get it. Terrell Owens hasn’t suited up for an NFL game since December 19th of 2010 (the final two games of his career were spent on the Cincinnati Bengals’ injured reserve), but more than a decade later, he still evokes emotion.

Some love him. Others hold a grudge or share a different opinion. Still, despite so much time passing, he’s much too interesting to ignore when something like this happens. Here’s where we stand though.

The next time we see T.O., we’d rather that be because we’re talking about him because he scored another touchdown in Fan Controlled Football. Trust us on this one. We’d much rather write stories of that sort.
