5. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is 6-0  versus playoff teams, and we don’t see the streak ending on Sunday.

As much as we obsess over numbers, the most important stat is winning. We won’t take anything away from Brock Purdy. Regardless of who he played for collegiately or where he was drafted. A 7-0 beginning to an NFL quarterback’s career is nothing to sneeze at, but let’s be frank. Jalen Hurts was an MVP favorite for most of the season for a reason.

Jalen Hurts is 15-1 as a starter this season, and he is 6-0 versus teams that made the playoffs this season. The Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, and New York Giants have all seen their measures taken. He has also beaten one of the G.O.A.T.s, Aaron Rodgers whose Green Bay Packers were an early favorite among some of the NFL contingent.

None of that matters now. All that matters is what transpires over the next three weeks. We realize that, but though arguments can be made that the Birds have a fight on their hands, the Niners are in a world of trouble too. Philly isn’t going to just roll over at home and hand them the George Halas Trophy.
