. . . Ndamukong Suh, D-Tackle. 74. player. 54

Ndamukong Suh and Gardner Minshew probably won’t be returning to the Eagles for the 2023 NFL season.

The Eagles added Linval Joseph on November 16th of 2022. They added Ndamukong Suh one day later. With the talented defensive line rotation that Philadelphia had, Suh was virtually a luxury item, but now, he’s potentially a free agent come March

Five-time Pro Bowlers cost a pretty penny, even if they’re 36 years old. The Birds aren’t coughing up a long-term deal for someone in that class even if that someone is as talented as Suh. Keep in mind the fact that Javon Hargrave needs to be extended too if Philly hopes to keep him around.

. . Gardner Minshew, quarterback. 10. player. 54.

In the NFL, quarterbacks are like the popular kids in school. They’re the face of the franchise. They’re the guys that even casual fans recognize.

Gardner Minshew, despite what you saw versus the New Orleans Saints, is talented. He has proven that he deserves the opportunity to compete for a starting job. He will not earn that opportunity in Philadelphia.

There is always seemingly a quarterback shortage in the NFL, and though some would have rather seen The Mustache used as trade bait, his number has come up in free agency. This may be his opportunity to find his franchise.
