The army grows a little larger. Philadelphia Eagles Nation has added a new member to its ranks. Jason Kelce and his lovely wife Kylie have announced the birth of their third daughter. Bennett Llewellyn Kelce was born on Thursday, February 23rd. She’s fully healthy and weighed in at eight pounds and five ounces.

A thrilled Kelce family introduced her to the world through an Instagram post on Friday with the caption “Yesterday, little lady #3 joined us”. That one placed a grin on our faces here at Inside The Iggles. It also made a very proud uncle, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, a very happy man as he commented “Baby Bennett!!!”. The Eagles also sent congratulations stating “Congratulations! Welcome to the family.”

It’s a great day in Eagles Nation as Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie have added another young Bird to our nest.

The Eagles family is a misunderstood bunch. There are times when they don’t even get along with one another. Heck, name a family that doesn’t have that issue, but here’s the thing. No one bonds like the millions of members that make up the ‘Bird Gang’. They may give each other a hard time, but you can best believe that they won’t let an outsider do the same thing.

On Thursday, that family added another member (and we’re sure that others were also born into families that we may not be as familiar with). Welcome to all. Someone has to keep this train moving when the rest of us turn in our playbooks so to speak and head off to those NovaCare Complexes and Veteran Stadums in the sky and try to find guys like Reggie White, Jermoe Brown, Jim Johnson, and Buddy Ryan.

We’re getting ahead of ourselves (and maybe a little teary-eyed and emotional). It’s not time for that yet. We still have a ton of training camps and seasons left to see, so with that, here’s how we’ll end this.

As inappropriate as this may sound to some, we have to be honest. We’re so glad that Kylie didn’t go into labor at the Super Bowl. The birth of a newborn is a special moment, and we’re happy that Mrs. Kelce was able to do so comfortably and didn’t have to worry about labor pains while being surrounded by thousands of strangers.

Congrats again to the Kelce family. Welcome again to Baby Bennett!

Hot. One player worth poaching from every AFC team. light
