Zacch Pickens, South Carolina. 8. player. 850. . .

Zacch Pickens stands at six-foot-four. He tips the scales at 305 pounds. He finished the 2022 campaign with 42 total tackles. 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups, but he proved to be virtually nonexistent whenever South Carolina needed to generate any sort of consistent pass rush this past season. His 2021 pass-rushing tape looked slightly better as he racked up four quarterback takedowns during that season.

Either way, he figures to hear his name called on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

. . Gervon Dexter, Florida. 7. player. 840.

Gervon Dexter is a six-foot-six, 312-pound stud. Alongside Jordan Davis, they would make it difficult for opposing teams to run the ball. That’s a promise.

He appeared in all 38 games played by the Florida Gators from 2020 to 2022. He started two as a freshman, nine in 2021, and all 13 in 2022.

For his efforts, he added 125 tackles including 10.5 for a loss of yardage. Add that to five sacks, two interceptions (one by way of a diving attempt), two pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries. He showed improved ability as a pass rusher in 2022.
