. . . Buffalo Bills. . team. 16

Miles Sanders could wind up in Buffalo as Shady did.

Another destination for Sanders could be the aforementioned AFC East-Champion Bills. Buffalo could be in the market for a running back. Their starter, Devin Singletary, will hit the free agency pool in March.

Sanders landing in Buffalo will remind Birds fans of another Eagles 1,000-yard rusher doing so. Who can forget Chip Kelly’s trade that sent LeSean McCoy packing? Shady went on to notch two 1,000-yard seasons in a Bills uniform.

If this were to play out, it would be an easy transition for Sanders who would trade one dynamic quarterback (Jalen Hurts) for another (Josh Allen). It wouldn’t take much to adjust to a loving fan base like Bills Mafia.

Sanders could reunite with former Eagles coaches at the Carolina Panthers.

No one should rule out the possibility of Miles Sanders landing in Charlotte. The Carolina Panthers are set to lose D’Onta Foreman, in free agency, and adding Boobie to the mix would give Carolina a nice one-two punch alongside Chuba Hubbard.

Keep in mind the fact that the Panthers are now home to former Eagles coaches (Frank Reich and Duce Staley) AND one of his former Eagles teammates, Josh McCown. Though Miles joined the Eagles after Frank Reich’s tenure as offensive coordinator, Duce was his running backs coach during his first two seasons. Miles and McCown were teammates in 2019 and 2020.

Possible wild cards: Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears

The Denver Broncos just hired Sean Payton, and Russell Wilson could use a running game. They don’t have a ton of money to spend though.

The Las Vegas Raiders could potentially lose Josh Jacobs in free agency. The Chicago Bears MUST put playmakers around Justin Fields. Chicago’s offense might be an easy adjustment as they do a lot of similar things to what the Birds do in their run-heavy scheme.
