The Steelers, Browns, and Saints would upgrade their defensive lines with a Hargrave addition, but don’t hold your breath.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could stand to get better at cornerback, offensive tackle, defensive tackle, and linebacker, and while it would seem that Javon Hargrave is out of their price range, we wouldn’t rule out him returning to the franchise that drafted him.

The Cleveland Browns are simply trying to stay out of the AFC North’s cellar. They have cap issues of their own and 22 free agents to make decisions on including defensive linemen Jadeveon Clowney, Stephen Weatherly, Chase Winovich, Chris Odom, Taven Bryan, and Ben Stille. Their biggest areas of need are defensive tackle, EDGE, wideout, and safety.

The New Orleans Saints could really do themselves some favors by adding some defensive playmakers, especially seeing as how they play in a division that all four members tried to lose in 2022, the NFC South.

They need help along the defensive line and an answer at quarterback, but like the Steelers, they have massive cap issues and will have to do a lot to clean those up so they can sign anyone.
