Marvin Wilson, defensive tackle. 73. player. 54. . .

The Eagles love Marvin Wilson and Cameron Tom, but they may have a hard time making the roster.

The Eagles love their offensive and defensive lineman, and sometimes, they have no problem keeping a ton of them on the roster. Look no further than all of those D-tackles they had on the depth chart last season.

Javon Hargrave is gone. Fletcher Cox was at the end of his deal. That led many of us to believe that it was easy to assume everyone remaining would simply climb the ladder a rung. Then, Philly re-signed Fletch.

Currently, there are four defensive tackles on the roster: Cox, Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, and Marvin Williams. Milton Tuipulotu is on the injured reserve. Philly likes him.

If they draft someone else, which we all know they’re probably going to do, Wilson’s chances of making the roster probably decrease. That’s the constant danger that comes with being the low man on the totem pole.

54. . . . Cameron Tom, center. 67. player

Simply put. Had Jason Kelce retired, Cameron Jurgens would have been Philly’s starting center. Cameron Tom probably winds up being his backup.

As you know, Jason Kelce isn’t retiring, and just like that, Tom appears to be on a collision course with the Eagles’ practice squad… or worse.
