Don’t be shocked if you find a few rankings where Sydney Brown and Daniel Scott are ranked higher (or lower).

The Philadelphia Eagles don’t dip into the California Golden Bears’ talent pool often. The last major splash they made, however, was a huge one that worked out well (DeSean Jackson).

You won’t hear any complaints about Daniel Scott‘s size. He’s six-foot-two and 215 pounds. You won’t hear any issues with his production late in his career. He enjoyed productive seasons in 2021 and 2022 and racked up 167 tackles, seven interceptions, and three forced fumbles during that time.

He’ll be selected during the NFL Draft. The team that takes him will have made a wise decision by doing so.

. . . Sydney Brown, Illinois. 5. player. 807

The Illinois football program has found a penchant for developing defensive backs. Sydney Brown has a nice opportunity to be one of the success stories.

A five-foot-eleven, 211-pound prospect is experienced. Try more than 3,000 defensive snaps at the collegiate level on for size. In five seasons, he collected 320 tackles, two sacks, ten interceptions, 16 pass breakups, and four forced fumbles. He earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2022 for his efforts.
