10 prospects besides Brian Branch Eagles can draft to replace Gardner-Johnson
Jammie Robinson and Jordan Battle would look great in Eagles jerseys if added.
Do a little research on the five-foot-eleven, 191-pound Jammie Robinson, and you’ll learn that two words keep entering the conversation… ‘complete’ and ‘undersized’. While the former description is one that pro scouts and coaches love, the latter often leads to rejection.
What Robinson lacks in his physical presence he more than makes up for in versatility and work ethic. Some grade him as a slot corner, but he’s actually one of those ‘positionless players’ that Jim Schwartz used to rave about. At Florida State, he played more than 600 snaps both deep and in the box. He played more than 1,300 as a slot corner. His body type is similar to C.J.’s as well.
Well, looky here! There’s another Alabama safety!
Jordan Battle isn’t the fastest prospect that you’re ever going to find at his position. He isn’t going to wind up on ESPN’s Top Ten Plays all that often, but he’s consistent and rarely on the wrong end of someone else’s highlight.
He’s battled tested. Playing four seasons in the SEC for Nick Saban will do that for you. In total, he made 50 in-game appearances, and he collected 252 tackles, a sack, ten pass breakups, and six interceptions.
