The Eagles’ backfield and offensive line are both impressive. Jalen Hurts has some options in the passing game.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts took a huge step forward last season. Had he played all 17 games without being injured, he would have won league MVP. Here’s what’s exciting. He’s still ascending, and teaming him with his passing game weapons will only continue that rise as well as being protected by the NFL’s best offensive line.

Wide receiver (5)

A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Olamide Zaccheaus, Quez Watkins, Greg Ward

The Eagles like Tyrie Cleveland. Can he catapult himself onto the roster though? Joseph Ngata and Jadon Haselwood were added post-draft as undrafted free agents. Keep an eye on them as this roster battle begins in training camp. For now, we’ll run with these five.

Offensive line (10)

Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Lane Johnson, Brett Toth, Sua Opeta, Tyler Steen, Jack Driscoll, Fred Johnson

There are no questions about four spots along the offensive line. No one is going to knock Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, and Jason Kelce out of the starting lineup. The theory is Cam Jurgens will be inserted at the right guard position to replace Isaac Seumalo. Keep an eye on Josh Sills. He has currently been given a special exemption.

Oh, and how about that Fred Johnson addition?
