player. 812. . . . Emeka Egbuka, Buckeyes.

Emeka Egbuka would give Jalen Hurts yet another weapon, and Joe Alt would be a nice eventual replacement for Lane Johnson.

We’d love to tell you that the Eagles are going to land Marvin Harrison Jr. next April. We’d love to tell you that Howie Roseman is going to pull yet another rabbit out of the hat and make magic happen. The truth is it won’t happen. Fear not Birds fans. There’s another alternative, Harrison’s teammate… Emeka Egbuka.

Marvin Harrison will be the top-ranked receiver on everyone’s draft board once the college football season ends. Egbuka might be the second-ranked. Keep an eye on Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell of the Texas Longhorns as well, along with Johnny Wilson (Florida State) and Malik Nabers (LSU).

819. . . . Joe Alt, Fighting Irish. . player

We know it sometimes seems like Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson will play forever. The truth is they probably won’t. At some point, the Eagles need to prepare for that, and they will. If they elect to add an option during the 2024 NFL Draft, there may not be a better option than the six-foot-seven, 317-pound Joe Alt.

Penn State’s Olumuyiwa Fashanu is someone you’ll want to watch as well, but who are we kidding? The Eagles haven’t drafted anyone from Penn State since… When? Shareef Miller?
