Before you decided to open this one and read it, you no doubt had an idea of who the top two guys were, right? Seriously, you had to know Bill Belichick and Andy Reid would top this list. Here’s why they did.

We asked ourselves for years whether the New Englands Patriots dynasty was more attributable to Bill Belichick or Tom Brady. Most have drawn their lines in that debate. Here’s where we stand.

Both deserve a ton of credit for all of those Super Bowl wins. Bill Belichick is one of the best to ever do it, bar none. Still, we have seen what he looks like as an NFL head coach with and without TB12 (and, we have seen the latter scenario twice). It isn’t pretty, but you can best believe his teams will be among the best-coached teams in pro football.

Andy Reid is the best coach in the NFL. We can agree on that, right? He has his flaws. All head coaches do, but he’s managed to tame his some.

Years pass. Andy continues to grow more knowledgeable about the game, and that should frighten you if you’re a young head coach.

Already worthy of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he’s the all-time winningest coach in Eagles and Chiefs history. He has also appeared in four Super Bowls as a head coach, and he has won two of those.
