The 2023 Eagles draft class

We know what most of you are thinking. These guys haven’t stepped on the field to play a football game that actually counts toward the win-loss total yet. How on Planet Earth are these guys ranked ahead of the 2022 class when last year’s rookies already have a full season under their belts?

The reason? We believe in these guys that much. Seven players were taken in this class.

  • Jalen Carter, defensive tackle, Georgia
  • Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia
  • Tyler Steen, offensive tackle, Alabama
  • Sydney Brown, safety, Illinois
  • Kelee Ringo, cornerback, Georgia
  • Tanner McKee, quarterback, Stanford
  • Moro Ojomo, defensive lineman, Texas

Regardless of the controversy that has surrounded Jalen Carter, no one can deny that, if he’s able to put it all together, he might be the most talented prospect in the class. Landing him with the ninth-overall selection was a huge win.

Nolan Smith would have been a welcomed addition with a top-15 selection. His selection at the 30 is another home run blast. Much is also expected of Tyler Steen and Sydney Brown. If Kelee Ringo surprises and everyone in this group pans out nicely, this might be one of the better classes of the past ten years.
