Four Eagles managed to earn top-5 finishes in their respective fantasy football positions heading into Monday night.

It was a dominant performance that showcased Philadelphia's talent on both sides of the ball, with the offense thriving and the defense stifling the Giants throughout the game.

Key players delivered clutch performances, keeping the Eagles atop the NFC East standings. This was a statement victory for Philadelphia, demonstrating its offensive versatility and defensive strength.

The Eagles’ ability to control the game flow from start to finish allowed for efficient execution and high fantasy returns. Eagles' stars capitalized on their opportunities, reaffirming their elite status in fantasy leagues.

Jalen Hurts (QB2, No. 12 overall)

  • Passing: 10/14 (71.4% cmp), 114 yards, 1 touchdown
  • Rushing: 7 carries, 22 yards, 2 touchdowns
  • Fantasy points: 22.76

Hurts delivered an efficient performance, completing 71.4% of his passes, including a 41-yard touchdown strike to A.J. Brown in the second quarter. Despite a relatively low passing volume, he added two rushing touchdowns via the "Brotherly Shove", bringing his season total to four.

With zero turnovers for the second straight game, Hurts remains a reliable fantasy asset. In Week 8, Hurts could be in for a high-scoring showdown against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, potentially leaning more on his arm.

Saquon Barkley (RB2, No. 2 overall)

  • Rushing: 17 carries, 176 yards, 1 touchdown
  • Receiving: 2 receptions, 11 yards
  • Fantasy points: 26.7

Barkley was the focal point of the Eagles' ground game, tearing through the Giants’ defense for 187 total yards and a touchdown on 19 touches. With multiple explosive runs of 20+ yards, Barkley showcased his game-breaking ability.

He’s now the No. 3 fantasy running back for the 2024 season and is primed for another big performance against the Bengals, who have struggled against the run this season.

A.J. Brown (WR5, No. 22 overall)

  • Receiving: 5 receptions, 89 yards, 1 touchdown
  • Fantasy points: 19.9

Brown turned in a perfect outing, catching all five targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles didn’t need to pass much, but Brown still accounted for nearly 80% of the team's receiving yards. Expect him to have ample opportunity in Week 8 against a Bengals secondary that ranks near the bottom of the league.

Nakobe Dean (No. 4 overall for defensive players)

  • 11 tackles, 6 solo, 2 sacks, 2 TFL
  • 25.8 fantasy points

Dean was a defensive force, leading the team in tackles for the second consecutive week. He added two sacks, including his first of the season, along with two tackles for loss and four QB hits. As the Eagles face off against Cincinnati in Week 8, Dean will be tasked with disrupting Joe Burrow and the Bengals' offense.

Eagles dominate and continue to build momentum

The Eagles’ 28-3 win over the Giants was a complete team effort, highlighted by dominant performances across the board. Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown connected for a deep touchdown, while Hurts added two more scores on the ground to propel the offense.

Saquon Barkley carried the offense with a monster day, while Nakobe Dean anchored the defense with back-to-back double-digit tackle performances and multiple sacks.

Philadelphia now sits atop the NFC East standings, carrying momentum into the latter half of the season. This win, marked by strong showings on both sides of the ball, sets a high bar for what’s to come as the team seeks to maintain its winning ways.
