Since the A.J. Brown trade, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been pretty quiet about making trades.
That's because Roseman didn't make a single trade last month after making five trades in August of 2025. The Eagles have seemed pretty content with who they have on the roster for the time being, but it's only a matter of time before Roseman finds the right trade for the team.
If Roseman really wanted to make a trade, there are four players he should consider on the Eagles roster to move. These are guys who either don't make the team or could get really good value for.
Eagles should trade these four players before the trade deadline in 2026
Kelee Ringo, CB (Return Value: 2027 Seventh Round Pick)
Sure, this is mostly because he is a liability in coverage, but it would be nice to get something out of him since he is not providing much value to the Eagles. Ringo got an interception in the preseason, but he struggled overall in coverage, like he did last season when trying (and failing) to win the CB2 job. The Eagles would probably be okay with a bag of Skittles to get Ringo out of there, but a seventh-round pick would be nice to have.
Hollywood Brown, WR (Return Value: 2027 Fifth Round Pick)
After his lackluster training camp, there might be legitimate concern that Brown is not going to be too much of a factor in this offense in 2026. Between DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, and Darius Cooper, those guys could take reps away from Brown. Getting value out of him may not be a bad thing, since Brown won't help on special teams and may not get many receptions.
Tank Bigsby, RB (Return Value: 2027 Fourth or Fifth Round Pick)
Trading Bigsby away wouldn't be because he's struggling or anything; it would be because he is so good that other teams would call to get him. A lot of this really depends on Will Shipley and whether he can step up, but without Bigsby, the Eagles have Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele, and Jaydon Blue, so they have plenty of depth at the position. If the Eagles get a high Day 3 pick for Bigsby, as great as he is, that might be too hard to pass up.

Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE (Return Value: 2027 Third Round Pick)
Smith is under contract for two years, but his performance in 2025 with just three sacks should concern the Eagles. His offseason arrest for allegedly speeding and reckless driving isn't a great look either, so the Eagles could look to move him off the team. If Jalyx Hunt emerges as a star in 2026 as fans expect, it would make sense to move Smith to another team that needs a good pass rusher. For the Eagles to justify making the trade, getting a third-round pick would be good value for a reliable, young starter in the NFL.
