This is going to be an ongoing situation throughout the offseason, but the Philadelphia Eagles now have four more players with new jersey numbers revealed.
Among the four, wide receiver Elijah Moore now already has a second new number to work with. After the Eagles traded for wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, Moore decided to let him have his original number 13, as Moore is now 19. Eagles reporter Anthony DiBona shared the rest of the changes:
Dontayvion Wicks - 13
Elijah Moore - 19
Chandler Martin - 45
Joe Tryon-Shoyinka - 52
Four Eagles get new jersey numbers entering the 2026 season
It was nice for Moore to let Wicks have the number 13 after initially having the number. Also, it helps that Wicks might end up being a longer-term player on the team than Moore, given that Wicks has two more years on his contract while Moore signed a one-year deal during the offseason.
Martin and Tryon-Shoyinka were lesser-known players who signed with Philly in the last few weeks. Tryon-Shoyinka has seen a lot of different jersey numbers with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Chicago Bears, and now he has settled on 52. Martin is more of a special teams ace as he lands on 45.
This is only the beginning of jersey number changes, as more will follow with the 2026 NFL Draft approaching. There's a good chance some of these players might change their numbers again, depending on who comes to Philly.
