The first Philadelphia Eagles preseason game is almost here, and a lot can happen that fans may not be thinking about.
This is an important time for the players, as 53 guys fight to make the final roster before the end of August. That journey started over two weeks ago, but the first real test is against the Baltimore Ravens.
There are five Eagles players who could come out as the biggest winners from the Ravens game if they play well. Here's a look at who benefits the most from the game and could be at the top by the end of the contest.
Which Eagles could be the biggest winners from Ravens preseason game?
Darius Cooper, WR
Cooper has already been the biggest winner to come out of training camp, but a great preseason showing would be the icing on the cake. He did it in the opener last year against the Cincinnati Bengals, when his touchdown catch earned him a spot on the 53-man roster. Another dominating performance from Cooper could land him a potential starting job with the Eagles in 2026.
Eli Stowers, TE
Things are getting better in training camp for Stowers, but he really needs a strong preseason start to get Eagles fans to think he's a bust. A great game, heck, even just one nice catch, might get fans to feel better about him. Stowers might have a great performance more than most players on the team.
Ty Robinson, DT
Robinson has been able to sneak his way into the first team for some reps, so things must be going pretty well for him in training camp. He could come out a massive winner from the Ravens game if he shows off that incredible strength that had Eagles fans going crazy about him last year. Watch for him to have a big performance and truly be on the map the rest of the preseason.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB
Trotter has had a great training camp and is showing Eagles fans that he's ready to be in the rotation. A strong game against the Ravens would be further indication that he's ready to step up to the plate in a big way. This might be the one player fans are most excited to see because the potential has been shown in camp, but seeing it in a game would be awesome.

Kelee Ringo, CB
Every Eagles fan wants to cut or trade Ringo, so there might be a clear incentive for him to play well in the preseason. While he's a great special teams player, last year showed the struggles he has in coverage. He's got a chance to shut the doubters up and earn himself a backup corner job on the team.
