The trade deadline has come and gone. For Philadelphia Eagles fans, they survived the multiple posts from Dianna Russini about wide receiver A.J. Brown being moved.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter shared with about 15 minutes until the deadline came along that Brown was not going to be traded from the team. This means that Brown will be a member of the Eagles for the rest of the 2025 season.

There has been a lot of noise over the last month-plus, following Brown's cryptic posts and frustrations with not getting the football enough. In seven games, Brown has caught 29 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns.

The rumors are done, what now for the Eagles?

Philly fans can relax now and not worry about Brown leaving the team. The first focus will be for him to be healthy enough to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. A hamstring injury kept him out of their previous game against the New York Giants.

Next up, it's about making sure Brown gets the ball early and often the rest of the season. In his last two games, Brown has 10 catches for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Those are pretty good numbers for a guy who's had three games this season with under 30 yards receiving.

This doesn't mean that the Eagles and Brown trade rumors won't completely go away. There will still be conversations once the season ends, as many think the damage is still too much to repair. Maybe another Super Bowl could cure that problem for the Eagles?

Regardless, it's a good day for the Eagles as they can move on and focus on the rest of the season. Those Brown trade rumors will be future Eagles problems. For now, the main problem they need to solve is how to repeat as champions.
