A.J. Brown throws full support behind Saquon Barkley for the NFL's MVP trophy
Once the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams game wraps, there will officially be six games remaining in Philly's season. We also look forward to an opportunity to continue discussing A.J. Brown and Saquon Barkley's brilliance. They are two of the NFL's best at their respective positions. They're also huge fans of one another.
A.J. Brown is a monster on the outside at wide receiver. Saquon... Well... He's been so brilliant in his first season with the Birds that we're beginning to run out of superlatives.
Recently, 'game recognized game' as they say. A.J. threw his full support behind his new teammate despite spending time in Tennessee as Derrick Henry's teammate when both were members of the AFC South's Titans.

Saquon Barkley earns A.J. Brown's vote for the NFL's MVP trophy.
Some say the NFL's Most Valuable Player honor is a quarterback's award. There's a reason for that. Regardless of the phenomenal efforts of players at other positions, it always seems to be a signal-caller that takes the MVP trophy home.
If we base the honor on the second word of its title, 'valuable', it would be hard to argue against Saquon's chances of winning. There's an issue though. A running back hasn't been named league MVP since 2012 (Adrian Peterson).
For 11 consecutive years, quarterbacks have been awarded the title. But, if A.J. Brown had his say, we'd buck tradition.
"I think he's the best in the world, and I love Derrick." Those were Swole Batman's words ahead of Sunday Night Football. Flashing his trademark smile and paid the ultimate compliment to our guy in the Number 26 Eagles jersey.
A.J. is right. Saquon and Derrick meet in Week 13 as the Philadelphia Eagles fly to Charm City to test the Baltimore Ravens in what should be a fantastic viewing experience.
First things first though. Philly must take care of business in L.A. vs. the Rams.
